Regarded by many (including herself) as the 'GWOAT', Shields has secured a reported $8m deal with promoter Salita Promotions to reflect this. The deal now becomes the richest in women's boxing history. In a statement released by Shields confirming the deal, Shields stated "This deal represents more than just a contract, it's a statement.".
